Tweetworking: How to Use Twitter for Business

Tweetworking is a set of private lessons to help you use Twitter comfortably, fluently, and confidently to reach your future and existing customers. At first tweet, Twitter can be overwhelming and undefined. In this class, you will learn how to speak the language and tone used in Twitter, and you will discover how to use it to reach more people in your market.

In this workshop, you will:
  • Start speaking in 140 character blurbs.
  • Get a guide for Twitter's vocabulary and what things mean.
  • Learn what the @ and # symbols mean and what they do.
  • Reach more people with one tweet.
  • Promote your services and products.
  • Tweet with confidence.

In 4 sessions, we meet virtually via phone and computer to share computer screens. Once you book this class, you and Katie will schedule your sessions.
Group sessions are available to companies who have more than one person tweeting. Contact for details.

SESSION 1: Explore Twitter vocabulary, Twitter benefits, and how Twitter works from a technical standpoint and a strategic standpoint. If you haven't already, you will create a Twitter account so that you can start exploring Twitter. We will discuss your business goals. You will have a homework assignment.

SESSION 2: Report back with your findings. We will discuss who you want to follow and why. We will strategize if you should maintain your Twitter account as you personally, or as your business. We will discuss how your business goals can be addressed on Twitter. You will have a homework assignment.

SESSION 3: Based on your business goals, we will brainstorm a small campaign that you can embark on right now in Twitter. This campaign will be to promote one aspect of your business. We take a look at Twitter Ads to see how you can use them for broader reach within a budget.

PRICE: $450

"Before I took your Tweetworking course I not only had very little understanding about the way Twitter worked, but I also had no idea how it could be used as an effective marketing tool. The biggest benefit to working with you, Katie, was how you walked me through every detail. I liked the way you addressed the issues and my questions clearly and simply by going step-by-step. You were extremely generous with your time and support, and didn’t make me feel like my questions were too silly, which was extremely comforting. I can’t thank you enough for giving me a whole new view of twitter and how this form of social media can be used as a marketing tool. I now have a whole new awareness and confidence to tweet.

Thanks again, Katie!"
